CMS Cepcor™ have recently manufactured and delivered the largest jaw crusher eccentric shaft to ever to be produced by the company at our Coalville manufacturing facility.
The eccentric shaft was manufactured for a leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to cover a breakdown of a large primary jaw crusher. As we are primarily a parts and service orientated business and to accommodate the urgency of this situation, our in-house machining capacity was re-scheduled to facilitate the urgent manufacture; from the point of receiving the official purchase order the shaft was manufactured, quality assured and delivered within 5 days.
The 3,600mm long, 550mm diameter shaft was precision machined from a forged alloy steel bar weighing in excess of 7,000 Kgs on our Doosan Puma 700XLM CNC turning centre. The shaft keyways were then machined on our Correanayak Norma 45 bed type CNC milling machine and subsequent quality inspection completed using our FARO edge co-ordinate measuring arm along with ultra-sonic testing.
Whilst this is a substantial eccentric shaft for a jaw crusher and the largest we have ever made, we have manufacturing capacity and expertise in the supply of both OEM and aftermarket screen, cone and primary gyratory crusher mainshafts that are far larger.
